In addition to supporting the Seattle Storm guard off the court from time to time, the Brooklyn Nets athlete also released a special version of his signature sneakers for her. The latest series to pay tribute to the WNBA superstar is Nike Kyrie Infinity (Nike Kyrie 8 unofficially; "8" is similar to the infinity symbol). Dr. Martens and Stüssy teamed up again this season to redesign the latter’s iconic six-eye boots. The boots were originally inspired by Dr Martens Boots designs in the 1960s. Only work boots. The two are no strangers to cooperative releases. They have collaborated on countless occasions, including the "Cheetah Print" series in 2016, the "Zebra" Penton Loafer series in 2018, and the two 8053 HYs series in the second year. Now, the two brands will join forces again in the autumn and winter of 2021 to seamlessly integrate Stüssy's epoch-making skating style aesthetics with Dr. Martins' 939 silhouette to create two durable winter shoes. Impregnated in black or "sand", each boot is equipped with subtle embossing co-branding and durable laces, in a sturdy commando sole. The Stüssy x Dr. Martens FW21 capsule will be released at 10 am PST on November 12 and can be purchased at Dr. Martens and the Stüssy website store.
